Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026.

This site is operated by an independent editorial project — one person, no company — from Turkey. We collect as little personal data as we can.

What we collect

  • Email addresses you give us when you subscribe to the newsletter. These are stored with our email service provider and used only to send you the newsletter you signed up for.
  • Anonymous traffic data — page views, country, referrer, device type — collected via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, do not set cross-site cookies, and do not build user profiles.
  • Email correspondence you send us, retained for as long as is useful to keep the conversation context.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
  • We don’t run retargeting ads, nor allow advertisers to track you across sites.
  • We don’t use behavioural tracking pixels in our emails.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies (e.g. for the site to remember if you’ve dismissed a banner). We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site point to third-party retailers (Amazon, iHerb, and others). When you click and buy, the retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. The retailer’s own privacy policy applies after you click. See our affiliate disclosure for the full picture.

Your rights (GDPR / equivalent)

You can ask us at any time to:

  • show you the personal data we have on you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • unsubscribe from the newsletter (one-click link in every email).

Email hello@spirulina.guru with any of these requests. We aim to respond within seven days.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data we’ll update this page and, for existing newsletter subscribers, send a short notice in the next newsletter.
